2023-2024
Urban climate analysis
In addition to the strategy, a city needs a climate function map. This shows the heat stress in different areas of the city. This allows targeted local measures to be implemented to reduce the stress. The map was implemented by Burghardt und Partner Ingenieure from Kassel.

2023
DWD urban climate station
In July 2023, the new urban climate station in Regensburg was inaugurated. As part of the German Weather Service's special measurement network, it is now one of only eight stations in Germany providing valuable measurement data for recording developments in the national and local urban climate.
