Ebb and flow - Trust it will come again

Today, while reflecting, I came across something exciting again. You know, I find many things exciting, especially life in general! And I like to examine it in its details to understand what one can do to lead it as brilliantly as possible. I simply think that many are very indifferent to their one life. You almost get the impression they don't want it at all, or they have several of them and can afford to screw up and then start all over again. Like in Mario or other games where you have several lives. Unfortunately, that's not the case. All right, depending on our mental orientation, we may believe in multiple lives. In this case, too, it would be best to value the present life and not to treat one's own so carelessly.

Many people live like this day in and day out. Work - Eat - Sleep - Repeat. At work they would rather be at home and at home they would rather be on holiday and on holiday they think about work and that the holiday will soon be over again. A rather sad vicious circle. The trick, in my opinion, is to break out of it by always being in the here and now. That means at work we work, at home we enjoy the food, the conversations and our hobbies, and on holiday we enjoy the landscapes and experiences. We live every day and every hour intensively - ideally every second. Our heads are not in the past or in the future, but only here in the present moment. I can tell you from experience how damn hard that is! But practice makes perfect! For me, it's also getting better and better and my attitude to life is becoming more intense.

When I was reflecting earlier, I remembered that I used to not be able to relax properly at all. I always had to do something, even if I "only" thought about it and planned the next steps. This makes me an excellent project manager, but perhaps not the happiest person when I am always in this mode. Today it's much better and I've become a real fan of doing nothing. When my head is free, the best ideas and impulses come. Sometimes they are simply inspirations "from above" that I would never have thought of. The space that is created when relaxing can be filled with lightness and dreams. That is, when the head is full and everything is blocked. Just drop everything and go out into nature. Best of all, take off your shoes and feel myself and the earth. For me, nature is the greatest source of energy I can imagine, because it brings us back to ourselves.

I remember when I first started doing less, it was a really hard struggle. I felt like I was lazy, missing out, not achieving my goals or not living up to expectations. Be it my own or those of others. My inner voice was not very merciful to me. In the beginning, I really had to force myself to think and act differently, and then the first successes came: I had a solution to a long-standing problem that I couldn't solve, exciting inspiring encounters or people approaching me with their best ideas and support.

I let go, freed myself from everything and surrendered to life. I let go of control and signalled to the universe that I am now open to new paths and options that I didn't even have on my radar. With time came the certainty that the "lost" time (yes, that's how I initially thought), would eventually pay off again by being rewarded with a brilliant solution or idea. The whole thing is like the ebb and flow of the tide. The sea retreats and you can be sad about it and unsure if it will ever come back to you. Or you can accept it as the natural course of life and nature and be happy now when it comes back. And you just know that it will - because it is the law! No one ever gives you a guarantee for anything in the future, but here you can trust without exception.

That means take the time to relax. Empty your mind and just do nothing! And I really mean nothing! Even if it's only 10 minutes a day. Enjoy this time to the fullest, be grateful that you can do it and be happy about what comes. And then let yourself be surprised. Life often gives me so much joy with its ideas - I could never have planned them so well with my limited human view. And if it sometimes takes hours or a week until success becomes apparent, then that's how it is. Just trust, just like you trust the tide, that it will come!

I just wish for our society that we are less performance driven. We are really driven, stressed and always feel like we have never done and accomplished enough. We manage our lives rather than living ourselves. It often seems to me that we get through our lives in the best possible way and end up totally exhausted and regretting what we didn't do. Get out of the vicious circle and do it differently by trusting yourself and your natural rhythm again! You were born to live this way, because this is our nature! And thank you for being here and reading this! It shows that you are one of those people who want to experience life intensively and value their time on earth! You have the knowledge and the power within you to turn everything upside down if you want to and to step into a whole new attitude towards life!

Do you feel like a driven person and manager of your life? Or do you feel like a master? Do you give yourself enough space to relax and clear your head? Can you remember the intense feeling of relaxation? Has anything surprisingly great ever happened as a result? How can you make more space for it in your life? How would it make your life feel?
