One month of living according to intuition

A new project has started! It's actually the first real project I've developed here. Yes, of course, there's also “Create Change”, but that's more of an umbrella over all the topics I'm working on, or rather a closed development space for you that I'm currently building up. But a project in the sense of a challenge or a life experiment is something I'm doing for the first time. I'm really excited because I realize that it's really powerful and I get a tingling sensation at the thought. The idea alone has a transformative effect on me, as I start to think and act completely differently. And that was before I was confronted with any situations in which I would consult my intuition. In this blog post, I want to explain to you exactly what this project is about, why I'm doing it and where I want it to lead.

Why I'm starting this project

I traveled here to Croatia a few days ago and even before I arrived, this thought suddenly popped up. It's not the first time this topic has crossed my mind, but this time it felt right to make more of it. I'm talking about intuition! When you bring it to the forefront, things can change.

In our lives, we usually follow certain routines, have obligations to fulfill and have created a life setting with a job, family, partner, etc., which in many cases has little dynamism. This means that somehow the same thing happens every day or every week and we often look forward to the weekend at the beginning of the week, when we can do (more) of what we want. And at work, too, there are certain routines, rules, regulations and expectations that we want to live up to. We often experience this, especially as employees. At work, companies often draw up balance sheets in order to generate the greatest possible profit - there is a lot of analysis and calculation. We create projects with deadlines, milestones and a specific budget. All of this means that things can seem very tight at times, leaving little room for spontaneity and creativity. We usually make our decisions on the basis of rational arguments, i.e. we weigh up the pros and cons to arrive at a “sensible” result - whatever that means. Not everyone lives like this, but I would say a lot of people do.

And then there's this other side that inspired me to do the project: I've always found that when I've had time to myself, had time off and could do anything I wanted, the inspiration and creativity just flowed. I was always amazed at how quickly this happened when I was in the right setting and how “complex” the results were. I mean that I'm often surprised myself at what comes out of my creative flow and how much substance and energy there is in the posts, videos etc. Even now, in this post, I still don't know where it will lead and what my conclusion will be. So let's be curious together ;-).

I have often asked myself what could actually happen if I gave my intuition more space. If everything in life was allowed to flow freely again - without all the restrictions. And that's how this project came about: One month of living by intuition.

Where the project is going

I now have four weeks off, a whole month, and can basically do what I want. I can go home by car, but I can also go further afield. I can go hiking, swimming, snorkeling, SUPing, taking photos. I can seek contact with people, I can visit friends, but I can also spend time alone in my creative bubble. I can create new projects, continue old ones or finish some. I can also simply do nothing. And all of this is accompanied by a few exciting questions:

What happens when I can do anything I want?

What do I do when I am free to choose?

How do I feel then?

I went to Croatia first, as I still had an appointment there. But the next few weeks are completely free and still undefined. And let's be honest, even here in my first week, I'm a free person who can change my plans again if it no longer suits me. Especially in a social context, this will be a bit more challenging. Ultimately, it's about coming back to myself even more, feeling what's right and also strengthening my trust in my intuition and my life even further. This means that one of the most important questions is:

How do I stay true to myself?

What does my intuition tell me?

And then to act on it: First feel, then act! The next few weeks will be all about this principle.

What I expect

I don't have too many expectations of the result, because that would somehow contradict the whole project approach of free flow. It's about not always planning everything out of your head beforehand and having experiences without expectations. It's about creating a space in which there is room for something new. But of course I've already given it some thought beforehand, which is why I think it would help me move forward. I think it will make me more independent and increase my confidence in myself. I also think it will make me more aware of where I am right now. I will (hopefully) catch myself in moments where I want to make a decision that isn't right and then act differently. And even if I don't make the best decision, I will have learned from it afterwards. We can also learn to be more gracious with ourselves again when we make “mistakes”, i.e. experiences. It is about looking and, above all, feeling very consciously in order to then act with clarity. It also means taking responsibility for myself and my life and thus giving other people the opportunity to take responsibility themselves. If everyone were more connected to themselves, I am sure that many values in our society would also change for the better. And that, in turn, would be reflected in a greater awareness and appreciation of our world.

Are you taking part in the challenge?

I would like to invite you to simply take part and give yourself a month in which you commit to following your intuition - at least as best you can. A little bit every day to strengthen your contact with yourself again and gain a new sense of security. And then we'll both see where we stand at the end. Definitely not where you are now. Because you will see more clearly, have a stronger connection to yourself and your charisma will also change. People who are with themselves radiate clarity, calm and self-confidence, which will definitely benefit you. So get involved if you feel like it. You can only win!

Best regards and see you soon!

What does your week and your everyday life usually look like? Does it feel free and coherent for you? Or does it feel rather tight and restrictive? Do you have the feeling that you make your decisions mainly from your head or from your heart? Where would you like to make different decisions in the future? How would it feel to take even more responsibility for yourself and your life?
