Municipal climate protection and climate adaptation managers are key players in the sustainable development of cities, municipalities and districts. They actively shape the transition to climate-friendly and sustainable communities – both in terms of climate protection and adaptation to the consequences of climate change. In order to successfully master this demanding cross-cutting task, they need sound specialist knowledge, methodological competence and communication skills.

In the six-day certificate course, participants acquire practical know-how on current political and legal frameworks, learn about the specifics and challenges of municipal administrative structures and develop a comprehensive understanding of the tasks and roles in climate protection and climate adaptation.

Day 1: Climate management in administration
