About the event

That's what it's about…

Climate change presents cities with a multitude of challenges. Extreme weather events such as heat waves, droughts, heavy rainfall, and floods are becoming increasingly frequent and intense. What can be done to make cities climate-resilient and thus more sustainable? This seminar covers a wide range of topics, from the concrete challenges of climate change to best-practice examples and practical solutions. A key focus is on integrated approaches that combine organizational aspects with infrastructural design options. Using concrete examples, we will demonstrate strategic approaches to designing water and green infrastructure for climate-adapted urban development and discuss with you the diverse solutions for future-proof infrastructure.
